January 26th – 28th, 2018

Updated Jan 20th, 2018. 9 pm

We have some changes to our entertainment schedule. Due to his recent heart attack, Bob Banerjee will not be with us in Port Clinton next weekend. On Friday night, John McCann (aka Corned Beef) will be performing solo. The show starts at 8 P.M. Saturday, we’ll have Mr. Phlocking, Johnny Rodriguez at 2 P.M., with John McCann and Boudreaux’s Back Porch for our evening shows. You all know anything can happen during this session, so we’re hoping to see J. Hanson on stage with Johnny at some point, and that Johnny will stay thru for some of the evening performance, too. Stay warm – see you Friday, 4 P.M. for Happy Hour at Catawba Island Brewing.

In case you haven’t heard, the bridge over the inlet beside the Jet Express is closed for construction. So, you can’t get to the hotel directly from the town of Port Clinton. If you are coming in from the East (Cleveland side) on route 2, you will have to pass the first Port Clinton exit and go 2 more exits to the one for route 163 and then follow 163 back east to arrive at the Commodore Perry (don’t take the first one marked route 53, it will take you into downtown Port Clinton and you can’t get to the hotel from there!!!!)

Join us in beautiful Port Clinton, OH, at Mr. Ed’s Bar and Grille for the annual “Phlocking Reunion” party (aka “Halfway to Phlocking”) taking place on January 26 and 27, 2018. Our host hotel is the Commodore Perry Inn & Suites in Port Clinton. Phone 1-866-385-3101, and be sure to request the special “PHLOCKERS” rate. Make your reservation as soon as possible before this special rate expires! This party is a great way to spend a winter weekend with good friends, good food, good music, even an indoor pool, and you never need to leave the building!

Like always, there is NO registration fee or cover charge for this event. There will be raffles with proceeds going to charity. Please remember, we ALWAYS appreciate prize donations for the raffles. This is a great way to get rid of all those unwanted holiday grab bag gifts you received!

Schedule:
Friday –
4 P.M. Happy Hour at Catawba Island Brewing, Port Clinton. This will be our third year for this party and it grows every year. Leave work at noon and meet us at the Brewery.
8 P.M. John McCann will take the stage at Mr. Ed’s for another anything-can-happen night.

Saturday –
2 P.M. Mr. Phlocking, Johnny Rodriguez, takes the stage. Johnny is a one-of-a-kind talent and is a long-time Phlocking favorite.
Following Johnny’s show, we have Toledo’s finest, Beaudreaux’s Back Porch, led by singer/songwriter j. hanson, This band is ready to rock the house with their very special style of music.

Evening – A Phlocking tradition, Beaudreaux’s, Corned Beef and Curry and Johnny Rod join forces for the best jam session in Port Clinton. When these musicians are on stage together, things get crazy!

A few early birds will arrive in Port Clinton on Thursday afternoon and plan to kick off the weekend at Firelands Winery, followed by a trip to McCarthy’s Irish Pub. We’re still working on a pre-happy hour outing on Friday. We’ll keep you informed.

See you at Mr. Ed’s!
